We make it safe
A fallen or dangerous tree is made safe first.

While you wait.

  • Keep everyone, children and pets included, away from the tree and anything it has fallen on.
  • If the tree has brought down a power line or is pushing wires together, keep well clear: the line could be live. Call 105, free from anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales.
  • If a fallen line is in a public place, call 999 and help keep passers-by well away until the emergency services arrive.

Photos for your insurer.

If a tree has damaged your home, car, fence or a neighbour’s property, take photos of the damage from a few angles before anything is moved.

Keep them with the date and the time, and send them to your insurer when you report it.
